The primary objective of Corrion's project was to increase the awareness about infant mortality in African American males at Lane College and in surrounding communities. His project also focused on increasing parental health awareness, physical activities, and healthy habits among participants.
Dequoria's project aimed to provide insight on the increasing diagnosis rate of breast cancer in African-American women.
De'Shawn's research encouraged all students, faculty, and staff of the Lane College community to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
Jermon's project was designed to educate African American men and women, ages 18-35, on how obesity reduction and adopting healthy habits can prevent and control high blood pressure/Hypertension.
Kerri's project focused on raising awareness on the importance of healthy eating and daily exercise to African American men and women (as well as non-binary individuals) that attend Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee.
